| I think Seth is Stalking Me! | ||
| Two samples today, kids, since I couldn't do one yesterday. We've got one of Street Fighter IV, and one of Darkstalkers: Chronicle. Them's fightin words, I think. Er, maybe them's just fightin games. Ah well. Enjoy them all the same, and keep sending! Better a surplus than a shortage, my granddad used to say. Of course, that was before he was killed by a falling shelf containing nothing but cans of Ravioli. Poor old Granddad. Anyway... Right. Move along... | ||
| Suspects in City Murder believed to be Orin and Yohandy | ||
| Yep, it only goes downhill from here. New Rock band sample in this update, starring Orin, Yohandy, and a still kinda sorta new game, Greenday Rockband! Check it out at the end of the Guitar Samples section. Yeah, I know that's weird, but I had to pick one. Enjoy! | ||
| Let's have some fun, this update's sick. | ||
| Yeah, bet that title scared you, didn't it? Well don't worry. It's not that scary. It's another vocal sample, and it's from Ben. Speaking of sick, ya know, he kinda sounds sick in this one. Perhaps he's coming down with something? | ||
| Plug in this Update, Baby | ||
| Today's sample comes complete with extention chord. OK, well actually it doesn't, but it is a sample of Plugin Baby by Muse. Muse is weird. But Muse is also cool, so as Mills Lane would say, "I'll allow it!" | ||
| Heavenly Update 2: The Spanish Blade | ||
| Wow, my titles are getting worse and worse. Anyway, the update this time is in the regular old game samples section. It's a game you've heard before, but not quite this way. Well, unless you're clement, who obviously has heard it this way, enabling him to post it, or um, unless you have the game, and have specifically... Oh nevermind. It's awesome. Listen, or I will decapitate your pet butterfly. Or something. | ||
| Double the Update, Double the Laughs! | ||
| So first, sorry I didn't get an update posted yesterday. You can blame many things for this. I personally blame IOS4, and the fact that I got home late, and the fact that I had to write up some stuff, but ya know, let your imaginations run wild. Anyway, This update brings you more of Clement's voice, though whether that's a good thing this time I'm not entirely sure. Be sure to take a look at the descriptions below the two new vocal samples, paying attention of course to what came before them as well. Enjoy! | ||
| Update Brought to you by Cold Fire | ||
| This update concerns Blazblue. Get it? Cold fire? Blazing blue? Oh alright, it sucked. The point is, Clement shows off story mode, and the story mode is awesome! Check it, yall! | ||
| Clement is the Champion | ||
| Today's sample-a-day only features one sample, but it's wonderful, and simply has to be heard to be believed. Or perhaps felt is a better word. Regardless, it's a vocal sample from Clement, right above that Voxtar heading. Listen. You must listen! | ||
| Avenged Threefold | ||
| Today, Brandoncole.net brings you an Avenged Sevenfold Three pack. There. Now do you get the title? Who am I kidding, you probably did to begin with. At any rate, these are all vocal samples, and can be found on the Rock Band page. What? Did you think I was gonna say they could be found on the Mortal Kombat page? Cause that'd just be weird.. | ||
| The Update is Here at Last! | ||
| Folks, it's been almost a year, but at last, I can confidently say there is an update on the site. How do I know? Cause I put it there. This update contains a little of everything. Three Rock Band samples, one for each instrument except bass, a few game samples not to mention an epic confrontation between two members of the Brandoncole.net community in Super Street Fighter IV, and a demo of Final Fantasy XIII presented to you by Orin. Truly an awesome update. Maybe not massive, but then, I don't have a massive amount of samples yet. And we must be clear. Sample-a-day is kicking off yet again, so I'm insuring I have the samples to post for a long time, given that the frequency of samples sent cannot be guaranteed. I hope this is agreeable. Seven samples and 1 demo that range through a variety of things. Do enjoy, and look forward to future updates, as they'll be coming fast! | ||
| It's Multiplayer Muesday! | ||
| Uh-huh, I made another one. But speaking of things I made, I made a new section on the Rock Band page for multiplayer samples. Ben kicks us off here with a sample of him and a complete online band. Pretty sweet. Check it out! | ||
| It's Malmsteen Monday | ||
| Yay! Another day that actually works! And this one's pretty cool. Clement gave me not just one, but two songs of Malmsteen's in a setlist. Oooo! They're drum samples, and he really rocks out to these. Enjoy! | ||
| I love Crushing Things on Wednesdays | ||
| Cans, heads, you name it. There is no actual crushing in this sample, however. Well, unless you count the starstruck love sick variety. That's right, Ben and Brandoncole.net bring you a guitar sample of Paramore's Crush Crush Crush. Ya know, on that Rock Band page thingy. Enjoy! | ||
| If you Wash Your Clothes in Too Much Bleach on a Tuesday, will they just Stain Again? | ||
| Odds are, uh... Maybe. But regardless of how totally unhelpful this tip has been, we have a new sample for ya. Clement again, this time providing you with more Bleach Blade Battlers Goodness. Listen. Learn. Enjoy. | ||
| If you throw a Monday off the Roof of a Bar, does it Bounce? | ||
| This one does, at least. Today we give you a demo of the Bouncer, a game for the PS2 that is, admittedly, only partially playable, but is still worth your love. Love it, I say! | ||
| It's Double Demo Dursday! | ||
| Yeah, that's right, Dursday is my new... Wait... Vursday? What happened to Vursday? Uh... That was soooooo last week. So yeah. Double Demo Dursday is here! We bring you over a hundred megabytes of content in two demos. One of Japanese fighter Bleach Blade Battlers, and a second review of Rock Band, this one done by Orin. And it covers the store! Ya know, that place where ya buy stuff? Pretty awesome. Check 'em out! | ||
| Let There Be Tuesday! | ||
| Shouldn't I have said that at, like, 11:59 PM last night? Ah well. Anyway, Ben gave us a sample of the live version of Let There Be Rock. On vocals. More talking than singing. Enough said. Oh, and huge rock ending. There. Now enough said. | ||
| It's Super Smash Brothers Monday! | ||
| That is what the game's called, isn't it? Super Smash Brothers Monday? What? Melee? Oh. Well, uh, judging by the attitudes of the characters in this game, I'd say they think it's a Monday. These guys are really, really mad, and they're gonna take it out on each other. It's a huge sample brought to you by Stirlock, so enjoy or something! | ||
| It's Voxtar Vursday! | ||
| That's right. Vursday is my new weekday. You had all better like it. Anyway, I decided to close out this week by adding a new section to the Rock Band page. the Voxtar section. It is thanks to Liam that I was able to slap the first sample up there. Anyone wanna try to compete? | ||
| What would Happen if Ryu joined the UFC? | ||
| The UFC would eventually shut down, that's what. But don't concern yourself with that. Concern yourself with the brand new sample of UFC2009, and the demo, yes I said demo, of Street Fighter IV. Oh, and by popular request, I also fixed the link to the Samurai Showdown demo. Woopsies! | ||
| It's just a plain old Monday | ||
| No seriously, it's really, really plain. It's so plain, in fact, that I had to post another Clement fighting game sample. Yeah. You'd think that'd be a dry well by now, but more just keep trickling in. Well, do try to enjoy it. He might figure out how to use a real sword if you don't. | ||
| Aren't Bowling Nights Usually on Thursdays? | ||
| They'd better be, cause we've got a sample of Capcom Bowling for ya this time. This is an oldie, but that's alright. We like the older games. It has been posted just for your listening torture... Er, I mean listening pleasure, and I command you to enjoy it! | ||
| Ben's America... Part 3 | ||
| Here's another one from Ben, folks. This one's Everlong by the FOo Fighters. He sings it well, but again, he puts on that crazy American rocker voice. Enjoy and stuff! | ||
| Why does a demo of a game with the words Round 4 in Its Title have only Three Rounds? | ||
| It is a good question, and one I invite you to pose as you listen to this E3-themed sample of Fight Night Round 4. Why is it E3-themed? Cause Fight Night Round 4 hasn't been released yet. Yeah, this is a sample of the demo, but hey, it works. Enjoy! | ||
| I fell into some E3 rings of fire. | ||
| I think it's safe to say, is it not? Even after only the first day, this year's E3 has been incredible. The games are good, and well, there's that other thing. So, since we've all fallen into a ring of fiery... awesomeness, here's a sample of Ring of Fire performed by Ben. It's a Social Distortion cover, but I don't think anyone here hasn't heard the original by Johny Cash. Oh, and Ben does his in-character thingy again. Kinda works this time around though, as the crowd really gets into this one. So let yourself fall down, down, down, and enjoy! | ||
| Is a Bloody Roar like a really loud gurgle? | ||
| Yeah, like that one's hard to guess. Today, ya get a sample of Bloody Roar: Primal Fury. Animals, yo. People, turning into animals. And fighting. Sweet! Check it out and things! | ||
| It's Waah Waah Wednesday! | ||
| How does this fit? It is, after all, a weird subject. Well, I take this set of samples as Clement silently whining about Girlyman Monday 1 and 2. That's right, this is Clement'ss attempt to renew his manlyness as he takes on "She's a Hottie" on guitar and vocals. Did he do it? Does the fact that his voice cracks on the vocal sample mean anything? You decide. | ||
| Will Megaman be Destroyed if you Beat on Him with Drumsticks? | ||
| Yes, on this fine Tuesday, there's no cleverness, no whit, just a silly little question that sort of, but not really, ties both our samples together. Today, we bring you a sample of Megaman X done by Stirlock. This one's his first ever, but it ain't bad at all, folks. Check it out. And then, you've got Clement rockin out Disturbed's Indestructable on the drums. Sweet, ain't it? Oh, and all the funky artist screwups have been fixified. Enjoy! | ||
| It's, uh, memorial monday? | ||
| Yeah, I know. It's horrible. So I missed the last two days. I'm sorry. Things happened that I didn't intend, and I hope I can be forgiven. Today, however, you're getting four RB samples. Two drums, and two guitar, one of which is a sample of Red Devil, a very, very not easy song by MMounstein. Oooo. Shiny. Enjoy! | ||
| Samurai work harder on Fridays | ||
| They're still after me! And this time, there's, like, six of them! They made me post this demo Clement did of Samurai Showdown Anthology! A full-fledged demo this time! Next they'll be making me post sword to stomach interviews with the characters in the games! Aaaaah! | ||
| It's Bionic, uh, Bursday? | ||
| OK, so my clever circuits weren't activated today. But Clement's platforming and shooting circuits were. Today, he brings us the demo of Bionic Comando rearmed, and it kinda looks like he can actually play it. Sorta. See what you think of this clasic game rehash, and as always, enjoy. | ||
| It's a Clement-free Wednesday! | ||
| Yes indeed. As it turns out, Clement is in fact not the only one who posts samples to this site. Today, I bring you one from Ben. A sample in which he sings Indestructable, a song by Disturbed. This song is downloadable content for Rock Band, as you may've guessed. One thing to note, though, is that Ben really, uh, gets into character here. He's not singing a Disturbed song, no no. He's actually Disturbed's Frontman. Enjoy! | ||
| It's Ting Ting Tuesday! | ||
| You know those sounds swords make when they hit one another? When, uh, the game in question has realistic audio, that is. Well, that's the theme of today, as we present you with two more samples of Heavenly Sword. A huge, enemy-filled area from later in the game, and spoiler alert, a portion of the final boss fight! Wooow! So enjoy these samples, or suffer the consequences. And you do not wanna suffer the consequences. | ||
| Girlyman Monday 2! | ||
| This is definitely a tradition Clement doesn't want to continue, and yet, here are two more samples. This time, Clement belts out some bass with, of course, Heartbreaker, and Hit me With Your Best Shot. Yeah. What else is there to say? Oh yeah. Enjoy! | ||
| Samurai are Watching me on Sunday! | ||
| They're back! The Samurai! They're chasing me again! They want you to enjoy the fancy new sample of the Samurai Showdown Anthology, but they... They don't want you to enjoy the sample of Watchman: The End is Nigh, at all! Isn't that cruel? Defy them! Enjoy both! | ||
| It's Free Sample Friday! | ||
| That's right, folks. Instead of having to pay all that money you usually pay, tonight, you get your game samples absolutely free! This is a one-time only promotion that... What? I don't charge for... Awwww. Ah well. Anyway, there's a sample of Liam playing Blitzkreig Bop on guitar, and the second sample, well, You Got It. | ||
| It's Laundry Thursday! | ||
| What? The sample I posted has nothing to do with actual Bleach? Great. There goes that idea. Ah well. Enjoy the sample of Bleach Blade Battlers, and while enjoying it, say so 20 times fast. You'll need at least 20, since the fights appear to be so freakin long... Good stuff, though. Oh, and it's uh, Clement who posted this one. | ||
| I always Cry on Wednesdays | ||
| Well alright, so that's not entirely true. I only cry on... ya know... the majority of Wednesdays. But I do post Devil May Cry 4 samples this particular Wednesday, meaning uh, today, and they are good! Funny thing is, I don't think there is actually any crying in any of these three samples. Screaming, sure. Slashing, definitely. Shooting, of course. But crying? Nah. I guess they just intend to capture you with the whole "may cry" idea. Is he ognna do it? Is he? No? Blast! Well, enjoy anyway. | ||
| Tuesday 2: Samurai's Revenge | ||
| Aaaaah! The Samurai are coming after me! They... They made me post this Sengoku Basara X sample. They made me! I had no power to stop them! Oh, and they made me take a cheapshot at Clement, too! Apparently, they think it's just as funny as I do! Aaaaaah! Ruuuuuuun! | ||
| It's Girlyman Monday! | ||
| Don't ask me why this fit with Monday, that's just how it is. First, Clement shows us his more sensitive side with a stunning rendition of Pretty Woman. He even lowered the actual vocal track, so he could be heard more clearly. But things escalate when Clement transforms into an actual woman, and sings Heartbreaker. And he sings it beautifully! Such is befitting of a woman. We shall now all call him Clementine, and point, and shout his way. | ||
| Sunday, Bloody Sunday | ||
| Oh yeah, people. You're not gonna believe this one. Given the apparent popularity of the Heavenly Sword demo Clement and I did, I have decided to dedicate this Bloody Sunday to Heavenly Sword. Five, folks. That's how many samples I've posted today, all of awesome, playable portions of Heavenly Sword, some of which were glimpsed in the demo. Now you can hear them in full stereo, and isn't that just awesome? I thought so. Enjoy, and rock on! | ||
| It's Samurai Saturday! | ||
| That's right, Samurai Saturday comes to you live from the pile of bodies Clement has left in his wake. We bring you Samurai Showdown Vi this time, and though sadly that is it for now, it actually works, whereas Kengo didn't. Hurray! And stuff. | ||
| It's Foreign Friday! | ||
| Uh-huh. Foreign Friday comes at you with two very foreign samples, both given to me by a foreigner, (at least to the States), and filled with foreign sounds. A game sample of Kengo: Legend of the Nine, and a Rock Band sample of a Spanish song called Hay Poco Rock N Roll. Hurray for Fridays! Enjoy and things! | ||
| It's Thwack Thursday! | ||
| Why is it Thwack Thursday? Because you're gonna hear a lot of thwacking sounds in the demo that's been posted. The long-awaited, much-anticipated demo of Heavenly Sword. Oh yeah. It's almost two hours of pure bloodletting goodness shared by both Clement and myself. Please, oh please, do enjoy. | ||
| It's Boy I'm In a Hurry Wednesday! | ||
| Yeah, that's about all I had time for. I have about three minutes before I have to go to sleep, so the really, really big thing I was uploading is gonna have to wait until tomorrow. What? Did I say really really big thing? Why, I believe I did. Ah well, gotta wait until tomorrow. Until then, enjoy Liam playing Dune Buggy on Guitar. Hey, I only guaranteed one sample per day, and you got that. Enjoy! | ||
| It's Tuesday! Yeah. Nothing clever at all. | ||
| Here we are. It's Tuesday. NOt a themed day, so we're just goin back to the basics for now. Today, you'll find a long-awaited sample of NHL08, yes, I said 08, and a song about some Pretty Woman or other played on guitar in Rock Band. Please, do enjoy. I beg you! Pleeeease! | ||
| It's Mortal Kombat Monday! | ||
| That's right, it's Mortal Kombat Monday, featuring two samples of Clement and I beating the snot, blood, and other useless things out of each other in Mortal Kombat versus DC Universe. How do we do this, you ask? Online, of course, and the fights are silky smooth. Check 'em out! | ||
| It's Street Fighter Sunday! | ||
| Day 3 of the Sample-a-day campaign has arrived, and today, it's Street Fighter Sunday as we present you with two samples from the still popular, still relatively new Street Fighter IV. Listen in as Clement plays, and dies, as both Gen and Gouken, and if you feel the urge to laugh, he won't mind. On a side note, there was an error on the Rock Band page which has been corrected. That song I didn't know the artist of? Well, I know it now. Taken care of. And that's how Day 3 is gonna be. Enjoy! | ||
| Sample-a-day: Day 2! | ||
| Yes, the Sample-a-day campaign continues. This time, we give you a sample of a both released and unreleased game, as well as a fantastic song in Rock Band called Hands Down. It's a guitar sample, so you know where to look. Enjoy! | ||
| The Sample-a-day Campaign begins! Welcome to Day 1! | ||
| Yes, that's right, folks. Every day until the day I run out, you will now be introduced to brand new site content. Does this mean weekends? Why yes, yes it does! Every day, one or two more samples of awesome mainstream games shall be posted. And... maaaaybe the occasional demo. And it ain't gonna ever stop if I never run out. Awesome, ain't it? Today, we've got a sample of a game that hasn't even been released yet, UFC2009, and another edition to the Rock Band Samples, a song called Bounce on guitar. Listen, love, and enjoy! | ||
| A Significant Update | ||
Greetings, folks! I present to you a very significant update, containing another busload of Rock Band samples, samples by more people than just Clement, and two, yes, two reviews. And one of them... Well, one is veeeeery, veeeeery big. A long-awaited one, even. The second one is veeeeery important to those seeking to get a PS3, as it demonstrates some aspects of how the system works. It's all great stuff, so go now, and listen! |
| Updates Rock! | ||
| Whew! More updates! And the first ever Rock Band 2 audio samples! Ooooooooo! You know you wanna check those out. Plus, if you're up for a huge spoiler, check out the new K versus DC sample! Cause, ya know, that's what you people do. Right? Oh, and don't forget to report broken links, cause I couldn't get a tester this time, and I am far, far too lazy. | ||
| *Pants from Exhaustion* | ||
| Ok. So... Update. Right. Really... really... freakin... awesome update. Here goes. Five new Rock Band samples. A ton of new game samples, including samples of three of the most anticipated games. Two, count 'em, two new game demos, including a very, very special cooperative demo from yours truly, and Clement. And if that's not enough, the boards are back, and ready for you to fill them with your words. And if that's still not enough, I introduce to you the return of the article and reviews sections, now run entirely from the previously mentioned boards, and bring in the brand spankin new guides section, which will play host to all sorts of guides, from menu descriptions to full instructionals that make games just that much more playable. All of these will be written by blind folk, for blind folk. I hope you all enjoy the update. Please report any broken links or any problems to me, and don't forget to sign up for that message board. Also, all posted articles, reviews, and guides must be reported to me so I can properly link them on the site's page for such things. Thank you, and have fun! | ||
| Holy Mother of Update! | ||
| Forty things. Yeah. That's right. Forty of them. And 31 of them are Rock Band songs from both Clement and myself. There are some really good tracks in that collection, including System of a Down's B.Y.O.B and Toxicity. The rest are a mostly diverse collection of samples of other games, some of which have been sampled before, some of which have not. All in all, it's freakin massive! Go, and check it out, quick! Before it runs away! | ||
| A New kind of Addition to the Rock Band Page, and one of the Old Kind Too | ||
| Today is a day of more stuf, as I have just placed upon my site the complete list of songs I can play on the guitar in Rock Band. It is a text file, and can be found on the Rock Band page under the guitar samples heading. Also, I put up a sample of the song entitled Nightmare by Crooked X, performed by the man we will simply refer to as, The Clement. Enjoy! | ||
| More! Give us more! | ||
| You didn't ask for it, but you got it anyway. More stuff has been posted to the gaming section, including an equally violent Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories demo, another Onimusha sample, and some more Rock Band samples by Clement. Run to the hills! No, seriously, run for your lives! | ||
| Uh, woops... | ||
| So I sent the email to the list about this update, but for the first time, I forgot to update the actual site news. Uh, sorry, folks. There is a new game sample of a game called Untold Legends: Warrior's code, and a new demonstration of the fun things we can do in GTA San Andreas to check out. So, uh, please do check them out. | ||
| A two-week-late update | ||
| Yeah, I know, I'm a bad bad person, but hey, um, it's up now. More Onimusha samples, a sample of a game called Kengo: Master of Bushido, and a song revisited by Clement in Rock Band. Enjoy! | ||
| Onimusha Rocks: After School Special | ||
| So we've got some stuff for ya. We've got some samples of some Onimusha games, we've got a demo of the latest Onimusha game, we've got some more Rock Band samples including a brand new vocal sample, and we've got a sample of a game called Rival Schools. And no, it's not one of those math decathelon games. It's a fighting game. Check it all out! | ||
| Back up the Truck, Boys | ||
| We're talkin massive updateage! Three new game samples that aren't Rock Band related, and 24, yes 24, brand new Rock Band samples. Wahoo! Check 'em out! | ||
| *huffs and pants* | ||
| Ok. We've got 3 more Rock Band samples, 5 more Star Wars samples, and a demo of a little game called Rockit. Run and check them all out! You must! | ||
| Rockin, and Swingin | ||
| Some new stuff has just gone live. There are two more Rock Band guitar samples created by Clement, one of which is actually better than my own. Also, there is a new sample of Revenge of the Sith which again furthers my hope that the game might just be playable. We're talking yet more light saber battles! Enjoy. | ||
| Stuff! | ||
| New sample, and two new demos! Not often the demos outnumber the samples, but there ya go. Enjoy! | ||
| A demo! A demo! A half-year-old demo! | ||
| So you'd think that, after going totally demo and sample crazy lately, a demo I haven't posted for half a year wouldn't escape me, right? Well, you'd be wrong. The demo which has just been posted, that of Tekken 5, was apparently sent to me sometime last December. Um, sorry, Clement. It's really good though, and kinda funny, so do check it out. | ||
| Linkage! | ||
| I added another link to the linkage page. A link to the site of a good friend of mine who just needed somebody to link to him. And thus, it is done. | ||
| Two samples and a Demo | ||
| Pretty self-explanitory really. Two more samples, one of Urban Reign and one of a seemingly accessible Star Wars game, are up. Also, a demo of Marvel Superheros. Enjoy! | ||
| Rise to Honor! | ||
| Two samples of Rise to Honor have been posted. These are of course from Clement, and are full of gun-shooting, fist-swinging, object-throwing action. Enjoy. | ||
| Hwah! | ||
| A brand new game sample, posted by Clement himself. Enjoy the odd-sounding action! | ||
| And... add another crash onto that! | ||
| Another Rock Band drum sample posted! Check it out! | ||
| Crash Boom Bang | ||
| That's right folks, two more Rock Band samples are up, this time using the drums. And, it's not me playing. Also, the Rock Band page has been adjusted so each sample type is separated by headings, and some wording was changed as I am no longer the only one providing these samples. | ||
| Samples, and links! | ||
| Five more samples have been added, including an extremely long sample of Urban Reign. Wooooow! Also, the linkage page has been updated, and I've placed a link to my Twitter page upon the home page. Oh look, there's another one. | ||
| Oops, I did it again | ||
| Another update. Three more most totally awesome samples by Clement. Listen to them, or his sword may be seeking another target, namely you, soon. | ||
| The Most Massive Update Ever! | ||
Ladies and Gentlemen, Now, in the gaming section, brand new, is a page dedicated to samples of Rock Band, the very popular musical game. Exactly 24 songs have been put up as of the time of this writing, and more may appear as time goes on. Both successes and failures are demonstrated so you're getting a sample of different in-game situations as well as some good music. So go to the new page, and enjoy! |
| Another Sample Added! | ||
| That's right, a brand new sample, this one of Onimusha 3: Demon Seige, has been posted. Check it out. It's good. I promise! | ||
| Another update? So soon? | ||
| I've just uploaded yet another sample! Wooooow! Isn't that, like, totally awesome? Check it out! It's one of those game based on movie things, and it's good! Enjoy! | ||
| The first PS3 sample has arrived! | ||
| That's right, folks, cruise on over to the samples page, where you will find a sample of MLB08: The show! For PS3! Woooow! Listen and enjoy! | ||
| A bigger update than the last one! Kinda... | ||
I added one more sample. Yep, that's it. Er, wait! No! That's not it! Holy cow, people! The Brandoncole.net Mailing List is back! Back, I say! And this time, it's not even a boring old announcement list! It's a full on discussion list where all the lovely content of this lovely site can be discussed freely! Woe! So, like, if you want to subscribe, and I know you do, send one of them fancy email things to: brandonslist-request@freelists.org with the word subscribe in the subject line! It's that simple! Oh, and just for technicality purposes, the site's homepage has been updated to reflect this new mailing list. |
| Woe! Updaticus Maximus! | ||
| So yeah, there's like, a super major update! Six new game samples, AND a new demo! Woe! And if that's not enough, more's coming! And soon! | ||
| Samples! Samples! We have more samples! | ||
| That's about the long and short of it. We have two new samples up on the site for your listening enjoyment! So go listen, and enjoy them! | ||
| An update, and an idea | ||
Ladies and Gentlemen, Firstly, I will tell you that there is an update to the gaming section in the form of two samples of Dynasty Warriors 5. Secondly, I will present you all with an idea. At my Girlfriend's suggestion, I'm thinking of bringing back the articles and reviews section, and adding a guides section to go along with it. However, this will not be done with the use of the same PHP script as was used before, as that was a huge target for some very unsavery spam bots. Instead, it will be done with the forums. People will be allowed to post articles, reviews, and guides in special categories on the boards that I will set up. Then, once they're posted, those people need to let me know by email that they have posted. I will look over each article and either create a description of my own which I will put both in the articles, reviews, or guides main page, and in the site news. The three above-mentioned pages would be separate from the forums, but would link directly to the post of the one who posted the article. That way, articles and reviews could be browsed through without having to go directly to the forums, though one would still have to go to the forums to submit an article of their own. Another advantage of doing it this way is that people could comment on the articles, reviews, and guides posted simply by replying to the topic. And, if a change was required, the original poster has freedom to edit their own post, and therefore updates could be applied where necessary. I think it's a great idea, but I want some opinions before I go ahead with it. Please email me at brandon@brandoncole.net with your opinion or suggestion. Additionally, I am going to request that anyone who hasn't already signed up with the boards and wishes to do so, perhaps for the purposes of posting an article or review, (though I hope one would post more than just that), I request that you also email me at brandon@brandoncole.net with the user name you chose. Unfortunately, the boards are a spam bot target as well, so I need to know which user names are real people. Once I know, I will activate your account, and you can post at will. Thanks. |

| A tripple-decker Update | ||

Dudes and Dudettes, There are three, count them, three new things on the site. One of them is a game sample for you all to enjoy, and the other two, believe it or not, are on the Soundage page! Woe! To those people, play on. Enjoy! |
| What a day for an Update | ||
| Yep yep, another update to the site. Two more game samples have been put up, and those nasty spam bots on the message boards have been delbt with. Hurray! | ||
| An update, and no more spam! | ||
| Hey yall, guess what? The site is now officially spam free. Sadly, this means that the article and review script is down, but i do plan to bring it back in a more secure and protected form. And, perhaps, with some new additions. Gwahahahaha! The mystery. The suspense! Anyway, there are also a couple new game samples you should check out. Enjoy! | ||
| Fear the Update | ||
| Ok, here's the situation. I hope people actually read this, so everyone knows. For some reason, it appears I no longer have my mailing list. So right now, this is my only way of broadcasting updates. I'll try to get this sorted as soon as I can. At any rate, there is a new sample up in, well, the samples section for you all to enjoy. So, um, enjoy that. Heheeh. | ||
| Rise to an Update | ||
Hi everyone! Hey, um, ya know that demos page with all the game demonstrations and stuff? Well, like, there's totally a new one up there. The game's called Rise to Honour, and it sounds cool! If you like kicking, punching, stabbing, and pummelling, that is. Oh, and there are a couple new reviews up as well. One for Urban Reign, and one for this Rise to Honour game that was just demoed. Read, and listen! You must, lest yee be carved into several small, thin strips by Jet Lee's knife. Cause, like, that'd hurt. Anyway, have fun! |
| Gameplay Samples Ahoy! | ||

| The Quadruple J-shot! | ||
Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm proud to announce that we have four, yes four, new bits of audio for you to enjoy. Three of them can be found in the demos section of the gaming area, and the fourth is a gameplay sample, found on the samples page. A friend of mine named Jessie did the sample, which demonstrates the brand new Nintendo Wii system, and the demos were all done by Jay Pellis. Therefore, the quadruple J-shot! Enjoy! |
| Holy Reviews, Batman | ||

| Another little demo | ||
Hi there, everyone! There's a brand new demo up. This one demonstrates the PSP's wireless PSP to PSP capabilities with the game Smackdown Vs. Raw 2006. I take on my girlfriend again, and its a slobber knocker! Oh, and also, if you ever tried to send me a paypal donation via the button on the main page, please contact me at superblindman@comcast.net I'm hearing there are problems, and I'm trying to determine how serious these problems are. Thanks. |
| A surprise update | ||
| Hi everyone! Guess what? There's an update to the site! I've done some overhauling of the boards. Moved some stuff around, and added about a zillion new topics and stuff for you to post in. Post in them, please! One of them is a never-ending stories topic, inspired by Adel's Strange Matters Category. Basically, this is how I want it to work. One person starts a topic, and gives it a title like they would a story. They write the first part of that story, and then leave it open for others to continue. One continues a story by simply posting a reply to the topic. And as the description says, one story per topic please! Enjoy, everyone. | ||
| Technical, and not so technical stuff | ||
Hi everyone, First, the technical stuff. I just fixed my Paypal Donation button, so now anyone who wishes to donate a small amount to me can do so. In fact, I would like to start the unnoficial PS3 acquisition fund. Now I know that I am not an official authority on games and gaming, but I intend to provide a full accessibility review, and perhaps demonstrations if I can manage that, of the PS3 when I get one. If nobody donates, that's just fine. I'll get one eventually. But if you're one of those people interested in buying a PS3, and you want to know just what it'll be like for you before yo ubuy it, donate just a little. Doesn't need to be a substantial amount. If I get a bunch of donations from a bunch of people, I'll probably be able to afford it. Even if I can only raise half the price after total donations, it'll be enough. And if I raised more than the price, I would happily refund people. But again, nobody need donate. I'm asking for nothing. Just making an offer and not getting my hopes up. And now for the nontechnical stuff. I wanted everyone to know that recently I received my first production credit with Darker Projects. I produced one of the Five Minute Fear series. The episode is entitled the Codger's Tale, and as of this writing, I'm not sure if it's on their site yet. Go check that out, yall. That's it. That's all. This is the longest news update ever. Hope you enjoyed it... or something. |
| Two New Recordings | ||
| Yep yep, now you'll find two brand spankin new recordings in the gameplay samples section. One is a recording of a complete football game in Madden 2007, and the other is a recording of a portion of one level in LOTR: Return of the King for PC! Enjoy and thingies! | ||
| Another teeny tiny update | ||
| Just a quick thing here. I forgot to mention that I fixed the Madden text so now it says the file is a sample of Madden 2007, which is actually correct. Also, there is a third MK Armageddon sample up now. Woe! | ||
| Yayayaayy! More! | ||
| Yep, that's right. There's another MK Armageddon sample on my site, as well as a sample of Tekken: Dark Resurrection and its use of the game-sharing feature of the PSP system. Enjoy! | ||
| What? Even more Stuff? | ||
| Hey peoples. Guess what? There's more stuff up now! Firstly, you can now get an MP3 version of the GTA sample file. Secondly, two more samples have joined GTA. Madden 2006, and Mortal Kombat: Armageddon! Wahoo! | ||
| New Stuff! | ||
| That's right, folks, there's new stuff up! Not only is there a brand new demo in the demos section, but there's a new section in the gaming section called Audio Samples. This section will contain clips of just gameplay, without a review. Useful for those just wishing to hear what a game sounds like. There is one sample currently up. Enjoy! | ||
| A teeny tiny little update, and a fix | ||
Hi folks, Firstly, I wanted everyone to know that I really fixed the announcement list email link this time. Really. Found out I had only fixed the text last time. Woops. Sorry. Haha. Anyway, I also added a paypal button to the site just in case some folks feel like donating to me. I ask for nothing, but if somebody likes the site, the option is open. |

| Just a quick update here for all you crazy folk. This site has just been approved to be a part of the blind and visually impaired web ring. Ah, the things I'll do for more hits. At any rate, you can find the associated links on the bottom of the home page. Hurray! | ||
| Wahoo! Yippee! | ||

Ladies and gentlemen, The articles and reviews sections of the gaming portion of this site have officially gone live! Live, I say! More live than, like, something that's not as live! At any rate, yall can just go right on ahead and start posting stoof! Cause I said so! Now do it before I tell your mother. |

| Another update? Why yes! | ||
| Hey there, ladies and gentlemen who actually look at this site from time to time, I've got two major things to report. | Ladies and gentlemen, this is the update that all my readers have been waiting for. There isn't just one new story on the site, there's two! Woe! And two stories that have been anticipated for some time: the huge compilation story, and the continuation to the bill series! Go now, and experience what you have longed to experience. Gwahahaahaha! | ||

Hi there, folks! Finally, there is a new story up on my site. I got Frontpage working again, so these updates will be more frequent than they have been. Prepare yourself, the good stuff's coming up soon! Gwahahahahahahahahahahaha! |

| minor update | ||
| This update is to let everyone interested know that the Skyfall Wrestling Alliance link in the linkage section has been fixed. | ||
| Major Update! | ||
| Ladies and dragonflies, this is pretty much the most major update since the site launched back in May. A brand new section has been added! Look at the top frame. See something new? Well, if you don't, um, you've got problems I don't want to get into here, because there is, in fact, something new! Check out the new section! | ||
| Updates and other fun things | ||
I updated the Discuss Stoof forums to the newest version of phpbb which is 2.0.18. You would think that by now we'd see some cosmetic changes to the board like maybe a new link or something cool like that but no it looks exactly the same. Ah well one can hope that something will change soon. In other news, I'm going to install Office on Brandon's new computer today as we fixed the reboot problem and it's been running smoothly for quite some time. Yay for that! Anybody who followed this saga would agree hehe |
| Bored? Look at the boards! | ||
Hey folks, There's something seriously new on the boards! I just put it up there! Now there's a place for your own insanity! Note: Contests may be held here in the future! Check it out! Also, I've moved the site stoof topic down below the accessibility forum, just in case anyone's looking for it. Enjoy! |
| Yee ha! | ||
| Ok, folks, here's the situation. First, you can find a new link on my linkage page. This directs you to a site filled with fun, laughs, and of course, violence. Also, there's some new information about my very new announcement list on the home page. Check it out and things! | ||
| Appearances | ||
Hey folks, this here's an update like no other. THis update focusses not on the web site, but an event I attended in Cincinnati. If any of you have visited the web site for the band known as July for Kings, then, well, you'd know who they were. This was an anual picnic and show hosted by them. Their front man, Joe, wrote up a little journal discussing the event, and I shall now provide a link to that journal for all to behold. OH, and I'm in one of the pictures. IT's kind of like Where's Waldo but, um, without Waldo. Enjoy the journal, and definitely check out some of JFK's music if you haven't already. www.julyforkings.com/journal |
| It's about time... | ||
| Well folks, I finally did it. I got my new computer, and I tossed my GF's computer out a window. Then, as you probably have guessed, I updated my web site with a new story and a new sound. I did this so quickly in fact, that I was able to heroically jump out the window and catch Misty's computer before it shattered on the pavement, fly back into the house, and place the unhurt comp safely back in its home. Wahoo for me! | ||
| Security and Stuff! | ||
| Updated the forums today from 2.0.16 to 2.0.17. Apparently it's a security update and they changed something regarding the view topic and private message features but I don't see anything different. I also fixed some problems with some stuff being outside of a table and spaced all weird. | ||
| Just when you thought I couldn't add anymore... | ||
| Yeah, that's right. I did three things this time. I put up another sound, I put up another story, and I turned the words Stories and Soundage in the about section into links for easy access. Aren't I cool? Doesn't my talent just flow like water? Ah well, I try. | ||
| Cosmetic Updates to Brandon Cole .net | ||
| I made a few cosmetic updates today. Set the tables for all the pages that were out of alignment with the rest of the site. I also added a picture of brandon drinking water in the rain at the Good Charlotte concert here in Columbus on May 11! | ||
| Stoof Stoof Everywhere! | ||
| Yep, another news update. There's now a new sound up, as well as a new story. And you thought you were done laughing at the LOTR characters. Ha! | ||
| Well Lookie Here! | ||
| For those interested, and I assume that's just about everyone that actually views this page, there is new stoof up on the site! Two new things, in fact. There's a new sound up, and there's also a new story up! Isn't that just spectacular? Doesn't that just make you want to cry tears of joy? No? Ah well, I tried. | ||
| Well Lookee Here | ||
| This is a very short update. Here it is. There's a new story up! Yay! | ||
| New Stoof! | ||
| Ok, so here's how it is. For a short while, I took all the sounds down because I was moving them to a different folder to make archiving them easier for me. To compensate for this very very very short downtime, I put a new very very very short sound file on the site. In fact, it involves a very very very short person. Yay for new soundage! Go check it out! | ||
| Aha! | ||
| Ok folks. Remember when I was complaining earlier about the fact that you couldn't return to my site from the Kingdom of Loathing? Well all problems of that nature are fixed. After just a small amount of struggling and several court appearances, all sites on the linkage page now open in a new browser window. Cool, huh? | ||
| A brand new update! | ||
| Alright folks, the linkage page is finally up and running. That means all the links in the header finally work! Yay! I have noticed one thing that people should be aware of, however. It appears that, probably because of the way their site is done, you cannot hit the back button to return to this site from the Kingdom of Loathing. Ah well, life goes on or something. It's just one of those things. | ||
| A Big Long News Update | ||
| Ok, this has got to be the biggest update since, um, the last one. Three more stories, the first three of the Bill series in fact. Also, the Contact Me page is up. Yay for contacting people! Oh and for those wondering, there are no mailto links on the contact me page for a reason. Bots. Yep, bots. They're mean, and some of them like to follow them right to an email address and fill it with spam. I don't like spam! Well actually, I do like spam, just not that kind. Ya know, the canned variety. THat's what I like. Anyway, that's the big long update. | ||
| A story about stories | ||
| Ladies and gentlemen, the stories section is now active and working. There was a time known as last night when this particular section of the site was broken. None of the links to the stories worked. I have fixed this problem, however, and now everything's just peachy. Or maybe it's, like, strawberryee or something. Banana-ee? I don't know. Everything's good and that's all that matters. | ||
| We're Coming Along | ||
| Well folks, this site's starting to be what it was meant to be. Wanna know why? Do ya? Do ya? Of course you do. And ya know what, I'm gonna tell ya. The soundage page is up, and there are already two files there for your downloading enjoyment! Also, I got the about page up so you can read a little smidge I wrote about myself. That particular page will be modified later. Soon, very soon, there shall be a picture of me up there. Uh-oh. | ||
| A second update | ||
| Here it is, the second update. The boards are up now, and I've got me a working guest book. Sign it! Sign it or face the consequences! Sign it or be forced to drink chocolate milk through a vaccuum! Gwahahahahahahahahaha! Er, um, would you please sign it? | ||
| First Site News | ||
| This is the first site update I'm posting here. Basically we're getting things off the ground right now. Not much here yet I know, but very soon there will be. The blog link works and the boards will be up soon! | ||
